There is only one restaurant in the area that hasn’t gotten me sick on a regular basis, even though they all try to accommodate me, and that is Rawthentic Eatery. The raw food diet is naturally gluten free being based solely on nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables. I have had this issue myself, making a rice/lentil wrap and getting quite ill. I knew the rice was fine as I had used it before and the bag of lentils was brand new, so it had to be the lentils. Just something to consider.

I’ve been travelling a lot lately. Some has been for work
and some has been for fun. I was in Northern BC (Prince Rupert, Terrace and
Hazelton) for work a few weeks ago. Then Stratchona Park to camp on the

I just got back from a brief 2-night trip to Ottawa. I was there for work, which it was such a quick visit. For some it is the taste, unique to every mushroom, and for some it is the texture, spongy yet meaty at the same time that is either off-putting or completely yummy. In my book, mushrooms are delicious and this time of year is full of many types of mushrooms.
